skunks, vegetables, nightmares and midgits

I SO missed LJ -I need to talk to the landlady about getting internet access at home because I have NONE at work.

The garden grows -I'm home this weekend inspecting it. The zucchini are MONSTROUS -took me 3 days to eat teh first one! I have too many tomatose and a rabbit that lives under the eggplants (but eats nothing)
The cats are always into the catnip I planted for them, and then they attack. . .anything. Smokin' high kitties. Oh, and then they tangle with a skunk and come inside just REEKING. that tomato remedy is a complete myth.


Other news. . .
I'm starting to have wedding nightmares -like getting left behind on an island, forgetting my dress when I get on the plane, and my favourite, not being able to get married because I can't speak Greek. I have no sympathy from my other half,of course.

My cousin Paul was home from Japan with his 5'3 girlfriend ASuki (he's 6'9) and is leaving tuseday so tomorrow is a goodbye party for him. Which means I came back to the parents' place just in time to CLEAN. Fabulous.

Next weekend Jay and I are off to his secret birthday destination -yay! Can't wait. Here we come US of A.

THEN I have to make sure invites are out for a family reception post-wedding -how did I get sucked into THAT? I don't want one, Jay does!(And his parents). I don't want to plan it, thanks. Oh, and dad's bugging me for ideas about a bachelor weekend for Jason -I said no naked ladies, just take the men and gofishing up north. Everyone likes the peace and you still get that lovely fish smell. . .can't believe I just said that. . .

so Leanne is getting married!!!! On the same weekend Jay's best friends is!!! Dammit! No North Bay trip for us this year (must email and explain)


And I like midgits. They're cute. wierd, but cute.
